What is a Preposition?

Prepositions are linking words. They come before a noun or pronoun and show the relationship between that word and the rest of the sentence.

Shows where something is located!

2. Preposition of Time

Shows when something happens!

in โ€” month/year/season (in March, in 2025)

on โ€” day/date (on Monday, on 5th June)

School starts at 9 o'clock on Monday.

Shows movement towards or away from something!
